FLOW is made up for the most part of volunteers. Our work would not be possible without the commitment of individuals who want to get involved and make a difference in the community. We can all accomplish so much more when we work together.

Volunteer and Intern Opportunities
Office:
General Office
Volunteer Coordinator: Contact and organize volunteers for events and activities.
Monthly and/or special mailings: Assist with preparation of mailing materials, envelopes, labels, etc.
  Possible work on:
Access Database
QuickBooks
Dreamweaver
Newsletter and publications:
Pagemaker
Publisher
PhotoShop
Recreation on the Olentangy River:
Assist in public education about recreational opportunities in and along the river.
Service and Stewardship:
Booths at events: handing out information, recruiting members and volunteers.
River Cleanups, Tree Plantings, etc. - throughout the year.
Science/Hellgrammites committee:
Stream quality monitoring during months of late Spring to early Fall.
Children’s Education:
Robbie the Rainbow Darter is FLOW’s mascot. Be Robbie and make friends with kids.
Robbie's Road Show - Assist with education programs, leading children in activities and games to learn about the Olentangy River and local environment.
Fundraising:
Creating and writing fundraising materials such as Membership appeals, Grants, etc.
Government Forum:
Attending public meetings
Watchdog land use and storm water issues in watershed
