BOARD AND COMMITTEE MEMBERS

Provide leadership to FLOW for strategic planning, fundraising, outreach and communications, and watershed action plan implementation

Board Member(s)
Time Commitment: 10-15 hours per month
Location: in your own home and at FLOW office
Tasks: attend monthly board meetings, oversee FLOW’s finances and strategic plan, participate on at least one committee
Skills: expertise in one or more of the committee areas

Communications Committee Member(s)
Time Commitment: 5-10 hours per month
Location: in your own home and at FLOW office
Tasks: attend communications committee meetings, assist in developing and implementing a communications strategy
Skills: previous experience in communications is helpful but not required

Fundraising Committee Member(s)
Time Commitment: 5-10 hours per month
Location: in your own home and at FLOW office
Tasks: attend fundraising committee meetings, assist with developing and implementing fundraising plan, assist with researching grants and donors
Skills: previous experience with fundraising is helpful but not required

Outreach Committee Member(s)
Time Commitment: 5-10 hours per month
Location: in your own home and at FLOW office
Tasks: attend outreach committee meetings, assist with event planning and coordination
Skills: previous experience with event planning is helpful but not required

Watershed Action Plan Implementation Committee Member(s)
Time Commitment: 5-10 hours per month
Location: in your own home and at FLOW office
Tasks: attend implementation committee meetings, assist in developing strategies to implement the recommendations from FLOW’s watershed action plan
Skills: knowledge of water quality issues, stormwater, land use and zoning are all useful but not required
